2.54mm pitch seems to be a general standard for lots of things.

Thats it, I worked with protel too much with all those 0.100in=100mil=2.54mm pitch I get to see all the time.
I guess you gonna have to buy the 2mm pitch then.

Ok, I can loose the £10.00 handling fee if I buy 75 quids worth
So I only have to buy 70 connectors, bargain @ £87.18!
Edit: Hang on, If I buy 94, I can save shipping as well, that's 94 connectors for £100.96. Now what can I buy with all the money I saved??
I can't wait to tell the wife that I saved £22 by buying 94 connectors instead of just 1.....
Thats a rip off
Theres an australian site that sell it for $2.54, site is down though.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...+price&spell=1
You may want to search oem 20 pin gps connector or something.

Yay! first test ok. The GPS module works!!
Next to fit the gyro to the daughter board and connect it. First I need to double check the pin-outs as there are no markings on it and not much documentation
....Then find the speed wire in the car and give it a mobile test.

No, I really wanted to make sure of the gyro connections, as I said, there are no indications on it to which is pin 1 etc.
The only info I have is the picture that hklomann found below, it's not too clear as it seems to say 'top view' but the pins are on the bottom, so I don't want to connect it the wrong way round.

Use a multimeter to verify the GROUND PINS with each other and with a ground looking metal...such as the casing, mounting moint whatever.
PIN 2,5,6 should be short with the metal case.
Look for a dot, notch...they normally indicate pin 1.
If pin 4 is not connected, verify this by setting the multimeter to the highest ohm meter and check it against ground. Also try switching the lead around, if not reading is registered with both combination then this is most likely the NC pin.
Once convinced, go for it,

Thanks but I'd already thought of the ground pins, while both the outer pins short to the metal case, none of the other pins do. I'll try your ohm meter reading. Back in a sec!

Ok, none of the top 4 pins register anything against the 2 ground pins or the case. The middle 2 pins register against each other(as expected) and the.....ah, I found 3 of the pins are all connected in some way and there is 1 that doesn't register anything with anything, so I guess I've found it.
Edit: and it makes the picture correct, the top view as it states.
