Nooo. I've just been boxing it up and was going to use a Nokia phone charger to power it. I'm positive I tested it the other day and it worked but now, when I connect it up, the charger won't power the module!
Very strange!

What kind of power does this thing take? I thought 5v or 3v would power the whole thing up?
Ohhh... 1 more power supply to worry about?

phone chargers are the best for powering things, especially if they are the high quality variaty

Are they?? Didn't know that. This was a Nokia LCH-9. (Made in China!)
What it looks like at the moment - not a pretty sight!

well they are basically just switching regulators, as long as you dont get the POS $2 ones they work great
not to mention I always seem to end up with a box of them after a year or so

Laidback, do you have a blueprint of your circuit board or a close up of top and bottom of that? It's a little difficult to see where all the connectors goes on these few snapshots.
Thanks.

A little bit difficult?? You can't even see most of the connections! Honestly, I don't think a close-up will help, you just need to use the data sheets...I'll see if I can make a list of pin to pin.
