Speed Camera Updates in MapMonkey

How would I go about converting the latest Speed Camera Updates from http://www.pocketgps.co.uk to work with map monkey?

Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks guys

I have done this...look at the format of the mapmonkey csv file and with the single file version from pocketgps, put it in the same format...

Gimme a minute and I'll redo it and give step by step details...

The pocketgps database doesn't have the bus lane data in it though...

See if you can follow this....

Insert column before A
Select column D, data menu convert text to columns, tick in other : in box, finish.
Select column D, move it to A (grab just below column heading, cursor will change to 4 way arrow)
Rename column A to "Type"
Select column E and text to columns with @
Create a formulae in column G, =IF(F2>0,F2,0) Copy it down the whole column (press shift, ctrl and end together) Press ctrl+D
Copy column G while it's still selected (ctrl+c)
Paste special into column H, paste values.
Delete columns E to G
In column D type in 1 then 2, select those cells then goto the bottom right corner (cursor changes to cross) Drag down to last entry (6210 at the moment), this will number them all with a unique number.
Name column D and E, "Name" and "Speed"
Save it as a CSV.

Now, the MapMonkey file doesn't have Truvelo so I don't know if that will make a difference. Not sure how it uses that apart from just a label for the poi ??

You could copy the buslane, tollgate and distance rows from the MapMonkey file and add them to the end (be sure to change the name column to continue the numbering you did earlier)

Anyone anything to add to that, or see any problems with it ??

Nice one I was playing it safe by having the columns etc in the same order.

One thing though, I had problems with importing if I didn't give each one a unique name. (maybe that's because I split the name into seperate columns)...

While we're on the subject of pocketgps databases, Is it possible to import the seperate databases (different speeds/types) and associate different icons with each one ?? Like I can in Mapsonic......
