WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loaded this new driver and it took considerably longer to initialize the first time, but its working great now. And it brought down my CPU usage by almot a third. (I an running RR, MM, and Gpssecure) With the internal GPS virtual splitter, I can now put Map Monkey and GPSSecure on separate ports (I'm sure this is what's saving me CPU load).

As an added benefit, I actually locked 12 sats almost all day -- that's incredible since I usually average 4.

I only noticed one issue today and probably should do some more monitoring before I call Delorme: when sitting still the GPS loses signal off and on and the coordinates tend to float around, apx 100 ft. So when I reviewed my logs later the marker is jumping all over the street when I'm supposed to be sitting still.

I highly recommend this driver upgrade to anyone with the USB Earthmate or LT-21 from Delorme.

I've tried installing it and am having a few issues. I've actually uninstalled the previous version of the driver and am trying with just the new version... Not having much luck!

I install on the none LT model. It works but not the way I like it to be.
- The GPS still list as HID device.
- The monitor program show that I have 10 sat lock.
- Routis show I have 11/12 sats, but the signal bars are all RED. MNEA data stream look weird compare to what it look with the prior driver.
- D3 has no idea where the GPS receiver is.

Result? Just go back to the other version and run Compass/Xport2 cuz I can have more than just 3 COM ports to play with

Think I'll add this to the collection of software to install when I return.

This new driver is awesome. You should remove your old 1-device USB-to-Serial driver first. My one problem with it is that it has baloon pop-ups which make the start bar apeear infront of CF, but you can fix that by either dissabling baloon pop-ups or unchecking "keep task bar on top of other applications".
