Question GPS on ebay

is it safe to buy some cheap gps-receiver from ebay? is a gps-receiver just a gps-receiver, or is it good and bad? never used one before..

That may be cheap now but it will go for around £50-£60.....

The second one can be had for £25 BIN plus £10 postage. I have that one and it seems to lock on OK, I have only tried it trailed out of the window from my desktop though, I have yet to try it on the move...

Forget the USB one, this is from Singapore and will cost you triple in order to get it. The BT one looks promising, if it stays at a low price.

gps

Hi there.

just reading your thread.

I purchesd the following off ebay.

Aktronix gps bluetooth receiver 16 channel , and its very good, ive used it with my lap top, my p800 smart phone and my home pc. "so it works".

with it came in car charger, in house charger and the in car charger also converts so you can charge it from a usb.

There are lots of these listed so look for the best price
mine came of a euro site, you could also try a usa doller site, but it still comes from hong kong or asia ?

I Did get a bit of a shock when fedex charged me £14 pounds import, but id saved enough to out way that cost. hope this helps
