no, that is just a higher output module, like say the ublox module I posted earlier, the faster you get the data to the program the smoother the map moves

As long as the program can read it that fast...

Right...so I guess the next test will be send some high rate data to the diffrent map programs and see which one actually takes it

I wonder why destinator or other GPS software dont have an option to take the speed from GPS and do some averaging.... or maybe the DR module should do it... yeah, the DR module has no escuse for not doing that!
