Bugbyte I went to your site but you don't have which GPS unit you have. Want to know because your defiantly live in my area.

I'm going to eventually get the UBLOX, but for now I just finished upgrading my bu-303 to a Garmin OEM GPS, but I dont think that will be very convenient for the laptop usage

@Blackflux - I have the Royaltek Sapphire. I love it. It works great, but I have experienced some electromagnetic interference with it. I don't think that has anything to do with the unit itself, though.

Positioned it on the rear parcel shelf and tested with laptop -worked great. Installed PC underneath shelf, couldn't get a lock on sats. Moved it to front dash, worked great. Replaced screen with Xenarc, couldn't get a lock anymore. Moved it away from screen and it works fine now.

I know it sounds like it's a problem but it really works well.
