GPSr promptness

Iguidance seems to have a nasty tendancy to think im well behind an intersection when im really close to it and tells me at an inapropriate time (when im too close to the intersection to make any sudden lane changes) when to turn onto my next road.

What tricks do you all to combat this? I plan on ghettorigging my GPSr cable to go into the hood of my car and letting it sit 8 feet or so ahead on the road (its in the trunk now), but is there any tricks i can make to the program to change when the audiable notification happens or make the program think the car is 1 or 2 seconds or so ahead of where it says on the display?

Whats GPSr? you mean your GPS Reciever?

I'm not sure about your issue but i'd try another gps software, or another reciever...
