ok, everyone asks what the best gps software is. here is what i want. can you tell me what suits me best?

1.) need touchscreen interface
2.) would like the option for a 3d arial view
3.) good for US use
4.) has voice instructions

I am leaning towards iGuidance based on reviews i've seen and pics of the new interface.

Also, can i get ANY receiver hardware? Does it matter? I'd like something i can mount INSIDE my car. thanks for helping a noob!

If you've made that determination already, why are you asking us?


Inside teh car may or may not be possible. There's lots of surfaces that will reflect the signals from the satellites. Many people have had good luck with the GPS receiver on a rear deck, but not all.
You may also want a GPS receiver that has the capability for an external antenna.

Why are you leaning towards IGuidance? Perhaps you have actually done some research on your own, and realize that IG is a good choice for you.

Let me say this also, there is no BEST for everyone. I like IG allot. Some people swear by SA. There are so many opinions, why don't you form your own?

ok, forget the software thing then. apparently the only bad thing about IG is the small text, which can be fixed, so ill get that.

now if i want an inconspicuous reciever/antenna with good reception for it, what should i get?
