iGuidance Recording
Hey guys, I was just wondering if it is possible to have iGuidance automatically load upon start up and start recording where ever the car goes. I know when you click on record it asks you to enter a name for the file. Maybe it can automatically enter a name like "The date of when its recording".

If I understand you correctly you would like iGuidance to start automatically every time your Windows starts, and it should, without any user input, automatically start recording a GPS track.
I guess if there is enough need for something, a solution may be created. Could you tell us what the practical purpose of this would be for you?

But lets say if the car is started multiple times per day. It would save the GPS Track as "Date-#1 / Date-#2 etc...

This might work for you.
If you are a ham, or know a Ham operator, you could use this instead.
Ah, the joys of marriage/kids.

Actually, skinbedder/autoit might be able to do it for you "hidden" if you wanted to use iguidance. not sure about the auto-date thing though.

How would i go about do that? Just load skinbedder in the startup folder. How would it automatically start recodring?

You would have to create and AutoIt batch to do it for you.
What happens when you hit record, can you just hit O.K. How does it name the file. I thought it had the date and time. Obviously, the time will change everytime you hit record, so it might be possible that all you need to do is somehow get the O.K. clicked.

i believe you are correct; all it would take is ALT-F, R, ENTER keystroked to begin recording. you probably wouldn't even need skinbedder for that unless you wanted to be sneaky about it..
