iGuidance file issues.
well i just recieved iguidance today
it installs fine, but when i go to the map loader, i select a region, say southern california, select my target as my d:\ (btw, the problem below occurrs with any map and any drive) and click generate map.
it says preparing map data - linkinfo
it goes through the bar a few times, then pops up with an error corru[ted file LIC3, i press ok and the map data screen closes.
if i then click on iguidance icon, it gives me an invalid or missing data file linkinfo.bin. obviously because it wasnt fully created because of the above crash.
do you guys have ANY idea? im so confused.
edit: btw, i have reinstalled multiple times, with no change. please help!

and it gets worse:
this reinstall, and the last 3, the first time i try to do a map of a peticular region, it goes into this infinite loop of "prepairing map data files..." and wiating to coyp file (1 of 15) names.bin"
it does this indefantly, until i click cancle.
then says "cleaning up temporary data..." indefinatly. until i ctrl alt delete and kill the process
then when i try again, it does the same process in the proceeding post.
does this on multiple different computers now.
any ideas?

can anyone give me the exact file structure for the second disk. im struggeling with this.
it seems the structure is messed up and iguidance is looking in the wrong directories for the files.

umm...how exactly did you "acquire" this software - if you're not sure that it is the right directory, I'd say you probably shouldn't post about it on here?
Good Luck, though.
Edit: Not to sound like a jerk, but they don't think highly of warez around here. Additionally, I'd try to help you, but I have the Belkin version of iGuidance, so I don't know if the file structure is the same or not.

i purchased the software.
it gives me this error like cannot find file xxxx in e:\CD1\mapdata
that file isnt there, that directory doesnt exist, but it is located in e:\mapdata. thats why i want the file stucture, something isnt right here.
