Iguidance installation problem..

I just purchased I guidance and was sent the DVD instead of the CD version, i thought no problem i will just put it on my main machine and set the DVD drive up for sharing, all went well but when it gets to the screen that you select the maps you want to install it just keeps asking me to insert the disk and doesnt give me an option for it to read from the drive on the other PC.

Is there something i am missing that i can do? if not i guess ill just have to temp take out my DVD drive and install it in the car pc just to load the software

don't think so. I think there's a cd protection on those disks that wants to read the original. so installing through the network might not work.

have you tried imaging it and use a virtual drive? I think that doesn't work either.
