Lightbulb idrive navigator - with sdk!

this software also came up on my search for an alternative for gps software and figured you guys could have some fun with it. if you've already found it then pardon moi!

They support USA now! I spoke with them and if you request map data for an area they do not currently support they will provide it.

Looks very interesting (I'm from Belgium)
Wonder if they have a SDK for PC-platforms somewhere laying arround... the website doesn't mention it

As far as I know they only do Pocket PC, I have not asked if they are looking into doing anything for the PC. I have however tried to use their sdk to create a PC version but since the sdk uses the compact framework and I beleive was written in embedded C++ I get some errors.

they seem to have quite a bit of documentation online with the SDK.. it all depends on support for the US maps... if they can get us those.. then its should be pretty quick to get a application built

doesn't look like they have a 3d mode....

Otherwise very interesting if it works on a PC
