iguidance 2.1.1/garmin gps 18 usb

If ya'll could help me, it'd be most appreciated.
I had the garmin gps 18 usb and their nroute software. After reading the many positive reviews of Iguidance, I decided to try and upgrade. I didn't buy the recommended gps receiver, thinking mine was good enough. However when I try to use the gps 18 with Iguidance, it doesn't seem to work. Do any of you know of any exisiting issues between the two? I'm thinking the issue could be the fact that Iguidance needs to have a usb/serial software? I dunno like I said any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

try GPSGate to convert your GARMIN output to NMEA

nRoute works with GARMIN
iGuidance works with NMEA (as almost every other GPS software)

GPSGate

First, this thread is nearly a year old....
Second, nobody is going to email you any software. Buy it yourself.
