iGPS-M Problems...lagging??

Hi,

Bought an iGPS-M off linitx.com, and received it today.

Put it to the test, and it appears to be somewhat pants!

it must be about 100-200 metres behind my actual position when using iguidance europe. now i have used iguidance with my tomtom bluetooth gps receiver, and it is 100% accurate.

with the iGPS, i've gone past the junction before it even announces the 'in 200 yards...' bit

it isnt the speed of my pc (amd xp-m 2200+, 512mb ram...) nor the software, as it works FINE with the tomtom.

faulty unit, or is it pants in general...surely they cant actually sell this, as it is nowhere near accurate. (or am i doing something wrong?)

oh yeah...and i do a 360 degree turn around a large roundabout, and it goes haywire, thinking im miles off course :S

HELP!!!!!!

cheers :P

G

how many satellites does it lock onto?

i had one, but sent it back, turned out it wasnt the reciever that was faulty tho, interferance from the pc was causing it to get pants signal strength...
so put some cable chokes on the usb lead and it sorted it.

id check your signal stregth...
