JIT's patches are core to what I hacked. You have to do his larger turn by turn patches (the latest may not have everything in it?). Then you use res-hacker to apply the images I changed.

The Honda side bar is done, I edited my post. I did not try it out in iguidance, if you use it please post a pic of it in action?

Thanks, I applied that yesterday and it looks really nice. Now I just need to apply these images. Will work on it tonight and post some pictures.

ok I have downloaded the large turn-by-turn icons.

I have V2.1.3 and when I go into resource hacker under bitmap, I only see 13of the "stock" icons. The one i don't see is the "end" icon with the target icon under it. Under bitmap there is a icon of a target only. could that be the one that the new "end" icon is supose to be?

"Same with 2.1.1 and 2.1.2. For number 73 change resource #74 in ig."

Where i found all the original turn-by-turn icons, it starts at 100. Is this just a difference in the versions of IG? Also, Do I change both the small and large original icons or just the larger or smaller icon?

Sorry if these are newbish questions. I have just got my IG for Christmas, and I am just starting to mod it using resource hacker. So, I guess I am a newb at this.

Thanks, Matt

This was confusing but I figured it out without any help.

I changed the first instance of each icon with the improved version. They were in order atleast and when I got to the last few they matched up with exactly what I had been doing so I knew I had done it right.

I'm trying to find out the upgrade information myself... I bought 2.1.3 about 2 months ago and according to their website I get the upgrade for free but I see nothing about the free upgrade

The "upgrade policy" web page was updated yesterday. Try to figure out what policy applies to your specific situation.

(I spent a few minutes looking at that page last night and then again this morning, but I suspect I must have been too tired last night and it is still likely too early for me this morning. I’m sure the policy is quite simple, but the way it is presented on the page makes it too hard for me to follow.)

Actually I had e-mailed them earlier yesterday and when they updated their upgrade policy page I got a response. Already paid my $9 processing fee so now I'm just waiting for a confirmation of shipment or something...

Received the upgrade in the mail after having paid $9 for shipping me the upgrade and installed the MPC version and I have to say that iGuidance now ROCKS!

The buttons are big enough so you don't need a magnifying glass or a stylus to tell which button you're pressing. There's this nifty favorites feature that's pimping. Haven't been able to mess with it much due to other unforseen events but so far I'm VERY happy with this new version.

If you have version 2.1.3 and you bought it after December 20th you should DEFINITELY spend the $9 to upgrade. You'll definitely be glad you did.

I whole heartedly agree, now they just need to display your compass heading when the map is in the "straight up" position...
