I am more interest in replace/enlarge that "menu" button.
For sure, other folks also interest in making it more user friendly. Procedure? icons/dialoge name/number so they can mod the exe themself cuz distribuiting the exe is "illegal" right?
Absolutely yes, I will be replacing the images on the main menu buttons, with images that will cover the entire button. I already tested this, and yes it is definitely possible. Planned on doing that today.
The MENU button can be made as large as you want, however the underlying 'clickable area' does not scale -- it is hardcoded unlike most of the other buttons.

Folks with 2.1.2NA are in luck, other will have to live without it. Sorry guys
Well not enough people use 2.0 for it to be important, but I can patch versions 2.1, 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 to your build. I think thats alright... isn't it?
I guess it would make more legal sense to allow downgrading then upgrading.

If we create a patch for 2.1.2NA, I don't think it can be applied to 2.1 or 2.1.1. Or can it?!
I can't see how we are going to get around having to modify each version manually prior to generating a patch.

Alright, this is just a bunch of brainstorming and is all over the place, so stick with me
It can. They would just be running a 2.1.2 exe with the 2.1 data files (which works fine.) The only question I have is if this is ethical. I mean they would need to buy iguidance to use the program anyway, right?
Let me clarify: I just feed my bdiff program an input file and an output file and it makes a third file to show what the differences between the two are. So if i fed it iguidance 2.1 as the input and JIT's 2.1.2 as output then anyone could use the patch to turn their 2.1 exe into a 2.1.2 exe (but only if they had 2.1).
However the point of the diff files was they would only contain changes that us the community made and no iguidance code. The 2.1 to 2.1.2 diff would contain the code for 2.1.2 that 2.1 lacks.
So you see... I'm not sure if its a good idea. Downgrading is fine, but free public upgrades is probably shunned upon.
JIT you should message me on how you are making these changes so I can make a 2.1 exe with all the changes you have. Is there any way to export all the resources for a program and input them into another program?

If you build a patcher to take 2.1 to a 2.1.2NA, then the patcher will contain code from v 2.1.2NA. This is really not very different from distributin v 2.1.2NA, so really should not be done. It is OK to distribute a patcher than will ONLY contain new images etc, but if it contains original iGuidance code then I can see how they would balk at the idea.
Maybe there is a way to export the new resources (icons, windows, etc) and import them into 2.1 to create a patch. Will find out.

this is actually kinda cool, but I would still need the OSK to be bigger if I was to use this for daily use... do you plan do do that or is that not possible?

PURDooM,
When I'm using your latest preview of IGMod, the regular IGuidance menus often come up. For example, when confirming destinations after entering information on the OSK, I must hit the tiny "nav" button on the regular IGuidance menu. If that's the way IGMod is going to remain, it would be great if those menus were bigger. Perhaps, though, this is just one of the changes you haven't yet gotten to in the new version.

Thats because its not done yet. Its a preview
The plan is to have no iguidance menus visible at all in the final product. I am pretty close but the POI menu generator is messing up a bit for me, and when integrated in an frontend the zoomed results list only shows up every other time. So a couple bugs to work out and ill get you a new release.

That's what I had assumed, but there was a side of me wondering if you had decided to go back to a few select IGuidance menus for speed purposes.

Hey, anyone with a good sense of design send me (or point me towards) a goos set of icons for the main menu please? SOmething large and clean. And they all have to be consistent in design.
Thanks

I updated the first post with new screenshot of Main Menu.
As it turned out, the dimensions of the icons are FIXED. (dammit). So I could only place a 34x34 icon ion there. It would have lookd awesome in full size, but it is not possible.
