I think most ppl have 2.1 , is there a file that you can extract so that we can work it out ourselves?? I think this is revolutionary!! 
We need to work out an easy procedure to do it for all versions, perhaps do one template with marked variations for each version.

I changed the color scheme of the POI icons, I think the brown signs match the amber/orange better. The brown version also has slightly smaller signs... I like that better, but don't plan on changing the blue one.
Here are the two versions, one for Blue, the other for Amber cf skin...

Update: I think I found a way to create a patcher for any version. Even if my idea works, I cannot gurantee this will work with every/any version of iGuidance, but its worth a try. Will upload the patcher tonite.
