a BNC port receiver

does any know kow if there is a cable kit could transform a BNC port gps receiver to a usb port? thx

Your GPS receiver outputs its data through a BNC port? Are you positive the BNC is not for antenna connection?

It's probably a 'GPS Antenna' that he wants to plug into a USB port. I think it's technically impossible because while all the software is there with a USB interface you need more hardware than just the antenna to decode the GPS signal?

Even if its an antenna, thats not BNC
Its either SMA or MCX

ya those gps antennas look exactly like usb receivers except they have an antenna cable instead of usb. probably what the deal is, I've done some double-takes on prices online thinkin I found the cheapest usb receiver ever.... lol

Early gps used bnc, for offshore and on boats ships etc.

Not forgetting even earlier FM based radio finding
