Yea, that was an easy fix. Ok heres the steps:
1. Get a hex editor. I like http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delph...vi32/xvi32.htm. Open your iguidance executable.
2. Do a search for hex value A0 FF A0 - it should only appear in iguidance once. In my copy of 2.1 NA it appears at address 77A23.
3. Thats your color. The first value is red, second green, third blue. Just type in whatever hex values you want. (ex just red = FF,00,00)
4. Save

PuRdoom. You did it again! Awesome.
Can you find the location of value for the DAY mode as well? iGuidance uses one color for text during day, and another for text during night. I assume what you found is the night mode text color (based on your screenshot)
Thanks!!!

That one will be a bit harder (and possibly impossible if they are using a constant or a default value to indicate black) because so many things could indicate black in the exe (00,00,00)

Heres one... Is it possible to make the text that tells you the rd. you are driving on bigger? this is the text that is below the zoom buttons and the text that is at the top of the screen when in route.
Thanks
Chris

Is it possible to post all the bmp's you have done in your mod? I'm going to upgrade to 2.1.3 tonight and try your original patch. If it doesn't work, I'll need to replace all the .bmps manually. Thanks in advance!!
BTW...do you have a paypal account as well? Let me know.

Well, sorry to poop your party guys, but if you change that hex value to 'fix' your night text color, the day color will also be shifted to something else. I made my night text something like a shade of cream (light brown) and now the day text looks light green.

I just wanted my street name font to be white at night. That didn't change my day font luckily ;-)

Seems like making the night font color = FF FF FF (white) is the best option. It will make the day font almost black (it is actually a very dark shade of purple if you look closely).
