Hmmm....just tried it. It appears as though justintime is correct. The address in question appears to be tied to both day and night profiles. Bummer!! You would think the folks that programmed the application would have had the presence of mind to keep them separate.

Fortunately, for me, the reason I wanted to be able to edit colors in iGuidance was to duplicate the OEM navigation system in my wife's Lincoln Navigator. It has one of the better navigation interfaces I have seen. If I use the hex value A5A5A0 it comes close to what I am looking for. It also leaves the 'Day' colors fairly close to the default setting (which always looked fine....it was the fugly green in the 'Night' mode we were all trying to get rid of).

This setting appears to be a little nicer than the purplish text color you are left with if you use FFFFFF. Just IMHO.

I wish we could find the way to change the thick BLUE frame that appears during guidance mode... I would like to change that to something different, that doesn't clash so much with my theme.

It has a HEX color value of 00 00 80 but the problem is that it is present a couple thousand times in the code

Well.....just try them one by one until you stumble across the right one.

Be sure you document what effect each one has.

All kidding aside....I'm not sure if you saw my previous post regarding the rest of the bitmaps from your mod. Is it possible for you to post them?

I wish more of the theme modifications worked for 3d view.

I've done a bit of color matching with RR. Haven't gotten around to road color and background color yet though.

Also, if anyone has a way to completely eliminate the menu bar (1033), please share. You can't delete it, but you can remove the content, which is how I got mine smaller. I really don't want to run an additional app to get rid of it. The only other solution is to change the size under Windows display properties\advanced appearance, but that would make Explorer navigation difficult.

Day (fuzzy due to compression):

Yes, and you may even be able to update to a newer program version while at their site. I just updated to v.2.1.3.

How did you do this? I don't see any mention of the 2.1.3 version on their site at all, much less a place to download an upgrade.

PURDooM, will IGMod work with 2.1.3?

iGMod appears to work, however, justintime's Big Button patch does not. I had to do the whole thing myself (which was a major PITA, BTW). I do have a question for justintime....how did you change the background colors for the menus? I can't find it anywhere using Res Hacker. See the pics below to see what I'm talking about:

Here's a pic of yours (with grey background)

Any help would be appreciated.

If I remeber correctly, the backgrounds are an image resource. You need to replace the with your background of choice.

Like I said before, if the patcher doesn't apply on your exe, you are not using a 'clean' version. You would have needed to re-install from original CD, and then apply the patch.

Umm...actually I am using a 'clean' executable...the executable for version 2.1.3, which your patch does not recognize. This is why I had asked you if you could post all the images (not just the turn direction images) from your patch. I was trying to avoid doing an extra step (extracting the images from your patched executable) however, you probably did not see my request as the images were not posted. Rather than wait (or nag you with another request) I just bit the bullet and did it all. A PITA, but I'm happy with the result.

Dargon, to be clear... I busted my *** making these patchers.
Your statement above is very misleading... you're saying the patcher does not work. Well, there is not a patcher for v 2.1.3, but that is a totally differenty story.
