Leddy, I'm pretty sure in an hour or two we could have an app that say every x minutes hooks up a DUN connection, calls a URL with the location and hangs up again. The URL can post it directly in to a mysql database then you can browse it using the pages you've already built.
I have most of the bits already, just a matter of putting them together.

sat.avi works, while map.avi doesn't. I had to download the latest divx to get sat.avi to work

Weird, I can't open either  let me resend as a zip file.
They are encoded with XviD. You may need the codec from
http://www.divx-digest.com/software/xvid.html
However if you can see 1, and not the other, it's unrelated.
Ok Re-sent as ZIP file.

Yeap, I only got the built in FTP from XP pro to work with. Not sure how to change the transfer mode. Anyone know?

Try it now.
EDIT That method does it in Binary Mode, just as before. And of course, the file is still corrupt.
