Let's see....
First you go here:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/map-monkey/
There you'll find a post with the topic "RELEASE:....."
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/map-monkey/41392-release-map-monkey-v1-1-3-a.html
In there you'll find a link to the MapMonkey website:
http://www.mapmonkey.net/
If you then click "Enter Site" you'll find a link entitled "DOWNLOAD":
http://www.shaunjones.uklinux.net/de...download.shtml
On that page you'll then find the links to download the latest version + the update-patch:
Full program >>
http://domain880736.sites.fasthosts..../MapMonkey.exe
Upgrade >>
http://domain880736.sites.fasthosts....nkey_11348.exe
Download those files, and install them (just double click the .exe files).
There, that's MapMonky.
Then find your favorite store and buy the maps you need, unzip the mapdata you want into a folder with the same name as the map covers (UK for example) and then put this folder into the "C:\DestinatorApps\Destinator" directory.
There, that's the maps installed.
Now, if it wouldn't have been for Destinators narrow minded thinking here, that could be it. But now you'll have to order a "custom" DLL from them that at best will timebomb in the near future.
Just search for "DLL" and "destinator" and you'll find lots.
There is a special DLL floating around that you might be able to find, other than that, the only help I can give you is to recommend Freedrive which is just as good (or in my oppinion: even better) as MM.
You'll find everything you'll need to know about Freedrive here:
