No dude... that's how long the program refreshes the .kml file that it writes. My KML file is being updated every second just like I set it to. The problem is that the .kml is just a placemark, not a dynamicly updating thing like the CalTrans traffic overlay. To update the placmark, I have to re-open the .kml from within Google Earth.
Don't you other people have it working? How to you get Google Earth to re-open the .kml file every second? ...or is the GEnema program supposed to do that too and it is just not talking to Google Earth correctly?

I think I figured it out. I had never created a "Network Link" (from the "Add" menu), I was just File|Open-ing the KML. The "auto-create network link" check box was making a standard placmark under Temporary Places as well though, not a network link (???).

Great way of using GPS!
I have a problem with viewing right now though - it automatically zooms out to 7000 ft and when I zoom and change the tilt it won't stay. I can't find any option to change this...anybody know how?

I haven't tried it, but why don't you want to install Net 2.0? (I'm just curious)

.Net 2.0 screw up all other .Net 1.0/1.1 apps. Yes, both .Net 2.0 and 1.1 are installed.
I have to uninstall .Net 2.0 for other apps to work.

I'm getting a new phone this week (Samsung A900 aka "The Blade"), so hopefully I'll be able to use one of these apps.
I agree, that remote for EarthBridge does look cool.

I'm down.
I think all it really needs is a bar at the bottom...
| (<) ROTATE (>) | (\/) TILT (^) | (-) ZOOM (+) |
To move you'd just drag it. All the other stuff can be set and left.

Well, that plus being able to set a route to an address, look up a business, turn icons on/off, play route vs. follow GPS, etc., etc.

So, there'll be a button in the upper right that opens a new window on top. It will have two tabs.
- Enter address with OSK and text box. There will be programmable buttons at the top for easy entry. (ex. Home or Work)
- Configs - All the rest you suggested, plus whatever else we come up with. That should all fit one one screen, but if not, then we'll make it three tabs.
