Streets and Trips 2006? I don't see ne diff from MP '04

I've read that MS Streets and Trips is a watered down version of Mappoint. I just received S&T 2006; however, can really not tell any difference when compared to Mappoint 2004.

I don't really want to go through the trouble of installing S&T 06 in the car when MP works fine. Anybody have any comments? I'm running RR as a frontend...

i've tried mappoint and streets, the programs themselves dont change but from experience i can guarantee that the maps will be updated. i know this as in 2004 my street is spelled correctly, in 2005 its incorrect and there are a few streets around my house added. also there were entire city sections missing in 2004 that i saw in 2005 (talking all about ms streets). so in the end its the same program but updated maps and obviously more useful. hope that helps

A lot of GPS related functionality has been added since 2004. So I'd say S&T 06 is a better choice now because MP 2006 has not been released yet (but it is rumoured it will be released early next year).
