That's wierd, cause my GF's 2004 RX is just as I stated. Perhaps they changed it for the 2005. In any event, glad you got it to work.

I have been trying to disable the GPS nav on my Lexus 2004 RX330 so a passenger can program it while I am driving. The tapping did not work. I have read all the strings on this issue and am wondering if having a 2004 model could be my problem. My fingers are bruised from all the tapping. Could someone help??
