StreetAtlas 2006

Well I was bored so I figured why not e-mail Delorme and ask a question/present a problem. Here is what I sent, maybe it will work maybe not. At least I tried.

Hello,

My name is Kevin P and I am a proud owner of StreetAtlas 2006. I am writing in the hopes that someone at your company could take some time to address a problem that I, and others at the forum I belong to [www.mp3car.com] are expriencing (through no fault of Delorme).
We have purchased your software and many cases your gps module. The software is great and we really like ALL of its features. Our problem is that we are using your product(s) IN OUR CARS on 7" and 8" touch-screens @ 800x600. This causes us a major problem as the StreetAtlas interface was not written for such a small screen. I am hoping that your company could assist us ALL by making a patch or something that would add an on-screen keyboard and also make the bottom menu text a bit larger. Currently we are using the on-screen keyboard that's included with windows and given its size it is really hard trying to type using your finger on a touchscreen. I know that this may be viewed as a highly unusual request, but we would be more than elated if this could become a reality. I have a little programing laguage but nothing that will allow me to tackle this matter. Others on the forum are much more advanced than I am - but I do know that any help your company can provide will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks for your time
Kevin P
