GPS Problems (need help)

I have a TripNav TN-200 http://www.advancedgpsstore.com/stor....asp?SKU=TN200
I disconnected the unit from my car for about 3-5 months and last week decided to reconnect it to my CarPC for GPS again. The last time I used it, the TN-200 worked without problems but now it will not get any sat locks. When I use NMEA Agent for troubleshooting it keeps ouitputting an error "Control Array (50) isnt valid" or something to that effect. Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this issue or at least finding out what is wrong with it?

USB receivers have a small internal rechargeable battery. After prolonged period of not using the receiver the battery became discharged. Plug the USB receiver to your computer and give it good 30 minutes. Make sure the receiver has good view of the sky in all directions. The first time you do it it may take a while, but the following day it will likely take less then a minute for the receiver to acquire satellite fix.

Is the internal battery thing true of the gps mice that arent bluetooth or similiar also? B/c I thought about that also but figured that it was unlikely and plus the fact that it seems to be powered fine. I'll give it a try tommorow though.
