**Need some help with my receiver**

Hey guys, ive had this for a while and its really gotten to me lately because i cant get it to work

I think its an evermore? gm-307 usb mouse type receiver.

Anyways, heres the thing, i got it installed ok, drivers in, no problems with that. Ive tried a few diff drivers too. What happens is it doesnt get recognized by software. Most software. I have the deluo diagnostics and it works and gives me stats. I tried XPORT it was giving stats as well.

but when i try it on ms streets and trips or nmeaGoogle Earth, it just says waiting for gps signal and never connects. Of course i only run one software at a time, i tried running multiple ports and stuff.

Anyways im about to throw this thing in the garbage. Any help is appreciated.

Ok what is the serial/COM port number does the driver assign to?
Try to run it without Xport and connect your mapping software to that same port that Xport use to see if the mapping software can connect to the port.
Your current problem is configuration/setting.
If possible, post a screenshot of Device Manager with Communication Ports expanded.

Hey nice supra!...

tried connecting to it directly without xport, doesnt work. Its com port 6 on this pc, i also tried it on my laptop which was com port 4. Same thing. Its weird becuase deluo diag. and xport both read it but no software. Heres a screen of my device manager, not sure if thats what you want?

Just make sure that in software COM port speed is 4800. Anything faster, it won't work.
BTW, I can't see the image.

odd youre not seeing hte picture, default is 9800 rate but i tried 4xxx and it didnt work. Ill try again tho.

Everything look fine in according to the pic.
Okay, let said you are using Xport3.
For Input you select COM 6 at 4800 baud rate.
For Output, you pick 3 ports: COM 7-9.
Now, Click Enable Service.
What do you see at the bottom of Xport windows? Some readable text or gabage?
If there is readable text, the receiver and Xport setup is okay.
Now run Street & Trips and setup COM Port to use one of those ports (7-9) at 4800 baud rate.
Does S & T get a lock?
Anyway, just make sure that the receiver can "see" the sky without any metal material on top.
