I bought last week a gps Evermore GM-307 in ebay.

Description of Evermore GM-307:

USB
Dark Clear Green Casing
Retangular shaped
Chipset: EverMore BBP1202

I connect the gps to the pc and install the drivers. The pc recognizes the gps correctly.

Using the gpsview of evermore or the viamichelin the gps detects some satellites, but the gps is not capable of connecting with them and of giving the correct position. Show the message: "no fix".

The date and the hour in the gpsview is incorrect.

Can anybody help me??

same whats the solution? by another gps? as people always say that all gps are fine? clearly not :/ is there anyway to extend the range on these?

where are you trying from? go outside and see if it works from there
