Gr-213 vs BU-353

I also have a behind the glass gps purpose. I am wondering which one of these will be what I need. This is going into a 2005 Nissan Maxima. My delorme lt-20 is extremely unreliable. Looses sats constantly, Takes forever to pick up etc.. I also have sirius and a gps radar detector that work fine behind the glass. Opinions please!

I went with the 353 & it's in my windshield right now.... works so good that it feels like it's on the roof.... never had any issues other than it takes a few extra seconds to come out of hybernation, & if gps is running at the time it pop's up no gps msg., but I think any antenna that looses power will do that.... great antenna I think..

I have a BU353 and it's been my only GPS receiver. I'm very happy with its performance.

I have a BU-353 mounted on the lower part of my rear window inside my truck. Works perfect and picks up a signal everytime, so far, no matter what the conditions outside have been.

I just installed the Bu-353 gps, Man this thing is awsome. I had it sitting on my seat and my windows are tinted with metalized tint. Picked up maximum sats that iguidance will allow. Some full (most) and some partial. I highly recommend this and throw your delorme away, Oh anyone looking for a delorme LT-20 gps reciever for 75 bucks!
