Mounting the GPS

I have a Globalsat BU-353 and it claims to be waterproof. I was planning on attaching it to my trunk lid (because it doesnt' open and close as much as my car doors) as I have a USB hub near that in the trunk. Does anyone have any ideas how to mount it to the trunk lid?

I would think affixing a magnet on it would not work and screw it up from running, but that would be ideal if it would work. I don't want to have it permenently affixed to the trunk as I don't want to mar the paint or anything like that.

Thanks ahead of time.

Try a clear silicone or some 3m adhesive double stick tape. Thats what I am going to probably end up doing with mine. I wonder though if the bu-353 will hold up in the elements. I am going to try my dash first but will go to the trunk if it doesnt work out.
