Switching from MapPoint to iGuidance....

I currently have mappoint installed and running under RoadRunner. I would like to give iGuidance a try. Is there anything I should do prior to installing iGuidance like unistall mappoint?

Thanks in advance....

NOPE. Just install it like any other software. Just make sure the GPS COM port isn't conflict with any other GPS apps you may have running at the same time.

No, nothing needs to be done before install. No need to uninstall MP. In fact, keep it. It does have some nice things iG doesn't.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot later this week, and post my opinions versus MapPoint.

I'm just trying to get roadrunner working with iGuidance

I just bought iGuidance, installed it, but my road runner (a default install) apparently doesn't know about it. When I click GPS, I get an empty screen. I set the path to point to iGuidance.exe in rrconfig, but then RoadRunner won't start anymore.

What else needs to be done?
