Holux GPSlim 236 BT and MapMonkey Issues - Help

Anyone have Holux GPSlim 236 BT running with MapMonkey?

I have a Bluetooth Dongle running Blue Soliel 1.6 Bluetooth Drivers and Manager and a Holux GPSlim 236 Bluetooth GPS.

The Bluetooth Dongle shows up as a ISSCBT Bluetooth Device and when I run the Blue Soliel Manager it recognizes the GPSlim 236 but when I try and get MapMonkey to recognize the BT GPS it says that the port is busy or it can find the gps.

I tried the BT GPS with my IPAQ 2215 and the BT syncs up and works perfectly, so I know its not a problem with the BT GPS, just can't get it to work on the CarPC wth MapMonkey.

I think its a port conflict, and I have tried XPort3 to try and split the com ports but i keep getting error msgs about ports and drivers not recognized or confused.

Any ideas or recommendation would be appreciated.

Solved my problem of getting MapMonkey to recognize BT GPSlim 236, after doing some additional searching under the GPS Forum.

Peformed the following to attain the solution, provided below as FYI:

- Ran BT Manager and paired BT GPS to Serial Port Profile and connected service to BT GPS which assigned COM4 to BT GPS
- Ran GPSgate and set input port to COM4 and create virtual ports for COM 14, 15 and 16 (lower ports were not available in GPSgate).
- Edited Settings.ini in MapMonkey directory and assigned Adv Settings COM Port to COM 14, Saved Setting.ini file.
- Open MapMonkey and immediately recognized BT GPSlim 236
