available gps software that just points to a waypoint?

is there an available gps software that just displays an arrow to point to the direction of a waypoint? with distance and speed info? There are plenty of gps software out there and I unfortunately can't try them all. Anybody who has such a software, help please? The best would be a frontend integration!

I've never seen anything that just shows an arrow without a map. You could find something that has an arrow pretty easily. Is it that bad if the map shows? I dont think any auto software would do it (by default) since there isnt really a point to hide the map. Maybe try to find some kind of aero stuff that doesnt map out streets.. shrug.

have a look at www.oziexplorer.com it is a gps, waypoint, tracks etc system that normaly uses raster maps, but you dont have to load a map. they have a trial download.
