any news about the focus problem with freeice. also want to switch to freeice because i like lightweight and fast apps.

what about running igo from outside freeice directory. looks like it can only be run when the same path as freeice, right?

delayed response, but yes, iGO MUST be in the same directory as FreeICE for it to launch from FI. Focus issue has been coded and solved by me and given to the creator of FI, just waiting on implementation (he was injured and is on holidays right now).

Hello all,
Been following this thread for a while and just sat and read through the whole thing again.
I've got a couple of questions.
1. Is Igo running under an Emulator (as suggested)?
2. Is it runnung from a SD card / Hard drive / USB?
3. How do you set up the Emulator?
4. Can anyone provide a simplified How To yet for the rest of us?

Cheers all and keep up the good work.

1. Is Igo running under an Emulator (as suggested)? No, the app is a standalone, no emulator needed.
2. Is it runnung from a SD card / Hard drive / USB? Everything runs from the hard drive
3. How do you set up the Emulator? You don't.
4. Can anyone provide a simplified How To yet for the rest of us? Search for the program itself as igo8 for PC, then find the maps, buildings and 3d land data. Beyond that you will have to fumble around like the rest of us, no spoonfeeding.

Thanks for the clear up Spawn!
Quite understand about "Spoonfeeding", however if I get this up and running maybe I will do my bit for the community and try a simple how to. Then again, I may just end up in a mess so we'll have to wait and see.

Beezer,

I was testing MySize on a tablet PC with 8.9' screen and 1024 x 600 res.

I can open Igo at that resolution, but the top left corner of igo does not match the screen's top left corner. I have to move it manually. Is there a fix for this ?

Thanks
