I have the magellan gps 320 shown here
unfortunately, to power it up, you have to press PWR and then ENTER, rendering the gps useless to power up when out of my reach
so i was wondering, is there a way that i can trigger this gps to start on its own when i start the car?
one odd thing i noticed when i was soldering the serial cable from the gps to my pocket pc was that it was only supposed to have 3 wires, Transmit data, receive data, and ground, but for some reason, in that serial cable, there were 4 wires, transmit, receive, ground, and power....why would the power cable be in the serial cable end of the gps?
