Mappoint is more designed for the mobile businessman or someone interested in building automation or other tools INTO their mapping software. Mappoint supports limited scripting in VB & C+ for various functions, etc. It isn't designed to be more user-friendly than S&T, rather more business-type functionality built in.

Could someone "more in the know" lay it out for me (in laymans terms) as to why they find mappoint better? Features? Functionality? Integration with front ends, etc.
Also, is one better than the other for in car touchscreen use?
Thanks

ps. I've tried iGuidance, but find it too limited for my purposes, outside of a better interface for in car use and touch screen friendliness (igmod, etc).
