iGuidance wishlist

Hey all,

Who knows when the next iguidance will come out, but I thought I would start a wishlist that can be sent to them for consideration for improvements. Maybe we can have more "pull" as a group. An SDK would be nice, but that would probably cost extra money and not everyone (like me who is more of a hardware guy) can use an SDK and do custom code, so let's keep this to features that we would like to see included in the next release.

Here are mine -

1) Bigger buttons, especially with the keyboard for destination entry.
2) Text to speech - insteads of saying "Left turn ahead" it could say "Left turn, Main Street" - this would improve usability on screens that are hard to see because of sun reflections or glare.

RPM_VR4 and PURDooM - very impressive screenshots! You guys don't need any "new version" of iGuidance. You guys are creating your own new versions ;-)

You already know about that though Marvin. I'm actually surprized there's not more info about SKINbedder/iGMod on your GPSPassion forums. Anyway, give JustInTime credit for the Big-Button mod, SKINbedder just adds a few buttons not possible with ResHacker alone.

;-) It's because I myself have never used SKINbedder/iGMod, so I personally have no knowledge to talk about any of the cool front ends you guys use ;-) I use iGuidance as is, with no front end, in my truck ;-)

Feel free to post relevant info into the forum there. Btw it's not "my" forum ;-) I just participate there. I don't own it.

IG incorporates itself (No need for Skinbedder/IGMOD) w/ Mobile Impact.

All you have to do is ha MA and IG installed, and you can get it looking like this:

Peace,
