GPSGate problems

I've got GPSGate up and running for some desktop PC testing. The problem I have is that the imagery is not updating in FreeDrive. The speed and the direction (heading) are, but the imagery and lat/long aren't. I'm using a FreeDrive recorded log file. Do I need a GPSGate recorded log file or should FreeDrive recorded log file be ok?

Any suggestions,

My iGuidance log files work with GPS Gate. It's basically just a text file with a bunch of NMEA strings. Should look something like this.

Just take out the time then. You can ask CDRSkull, I guess.

And some progs are picky about what sentences are present. Using Viamichelin Nav Europe, i had to simulate sentences dealing with satellites in view and so on.

I ended up importing the file to excel, removing date stamp and sat locks columns, and then resaving as text file. After that I found that I just needed to tick the reset time box in GPSGate nmea logger. Oh well I'll remember for next time.
