Adding GPS

Im planning on buying a monitor but i was just wondering is there a way to add GPS to the monitor? I dont really want a computer in my car so i was wondering if there was an alternative way to add GPS to a touch screen montor.

This has been asked lots of times. To lazy to find the posts, just thought I would let you know that in a 6 year old community you aren't the first one to try to be cheap by doing this.

I think the bottom line is yes, but they cost a ton and suck a lot more

Edit: Why no carputer? If you have the screen, a computer and gps could be as cheap as $50

i new to this stuff and i thought it would look kinda tacky with a computer showing. How small can these carputers get?

Now, go here, (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/faq-emporium/) and read, and stop asking questions that are as basic in this community as "How do I use a fork"

Also, if you have questions, at first, you should post in the Noob section.

Then, look in the "show off your ride" section to see how good computers can look in cars.

Thats kind of like saying "I think having my engine showing would look tacky, so I would rather not have an engine in my car".

You don't need to have the computer in plain sight, you shove it under a seat or in the trunk like an AMP.
