Speed limits and routing in Iguidance

When routing from one city to another in Iguidance, i tell the software to detour around the interstate so that it'll be forced to use local highways instead. I keep it on quickest instead of shortest, but it'll completely ignore a highway I'm on and try to reroute me to another one instead and I'm assuming it's doing this because it thinks the speed limit on the one I currently drive on is low, and hence not the quickest way. Is there anyway to alter the preset speed limits the program uses to calculate the 'quickest' route so that I don't manually have to set a stopover on the highway it should actually be using to get it to use it?

I miss the feature Street Atlas had where i could use a via road to specify a certain road i would like to use.
