How about THIS GPS Reciever??

Let me just preface this post with; yes...I did search.

I'm just wonder if anyone has experience with the Holux GM-200 GPS Receiver that can be bought at http://www.thegpsstore.com ? It seems like a less expensive solution to the $200 Garmin.

Here's a PDF specs sheet I found on it, so those who have knowlegde of GPS can compare:

Might wanna check this out too:

It's NMEA compliant or whatever, so I guess it will work with most mapping sw.

I picked up the USB version, but I haven't put it in my car yet. I also have only tried it with MS Mappoint, cause that is the only software I have right now.

It seemed to work fine on my Win2K system. What sort of info are you looking for?

I got it (Holux 200 USB) and it didn't work with M$ S&T, Delorem Atlas USA, Delorem Atlas USA Deluexe. So I'm sending it back. I got a earthmate with is GREAT. Even though it only works with Delorem SW, they make kick *** mapping software @ a decent price (bundled) so I'm not complaining.
