Connecting Tomtom 910 to car stereo
I want to connect my Tomtom910 to may car stereo (Renault Megane 2006 Update List model) using the supplied TomTom leads with an adapted mini ISO on the car radio end, but have heard that there are problems with staic electiricty which mean that I cannot unplug the jack that goes into the car windshield mount, as this would short the radio. Obviously I want to be able to remove the windshield mount when I am not there for security reasons. Does anyone know whether this is a problem?
