. Honestly Brief, I can't figure out what your program does LOL. Maybe you could post it with all the menus pre-configured to your liking. How would I embed this in a front-end in the car? It seems like it could do a lot, but I don't know how to take it and make it into an in-car solution that is better than GooPs.

I'll post a coupled sample menus, if that'll help.
Truthfully. I cant make a front end ether. I though somebody else would pick this up. I don't know how and I cant do it all even if I could.

willing to try it, but can't download zip files - your 250free site says "hotlinking not permitted - blahblahblah - files over 250K not permitted ..."

Dont bother busting a stitch comrade'. I only need people who really know what they are doing.
At first I thought the 250site was a pain in the ***. If I could afford a web site I'd have online updates. Glad I didnt invest.

Sorry friend. CommTest2 isn't supported anymore. Only slammed doors was recieved from the mp3car community. If you want good free software, you'll just need to look elsewhere. Drop money into the paypal box and I may consider looking at your problem, (probably a hacked file, security at 250 is strictly a trust system, go figure.) >$50 Projects not completely over though. keep looking at the web site.

A few days ago there where these people from wildlife and fisheries concerened about the fish in a local river. It was something about the water becoming stagnate and no airation, causing the fish to basiclly, sufficate. So these people dropped a bunch of red dye in the water, in various locations, to see flow.
I have no clue what the results are, since the survey is incomlete. But metaphoriclly speaking, if CommTest2 where fish and mp3cars was a river, it would die. If CommTest2 was a rocket and mp3car was a launchpad, then the release bracketts would fail. If CommTest2 where a ford explorer and mp3car where the tires, then it would have rolled over. If CommTest2 where a drug recovering addict, and mp3car where a hospital, then it would be destitute. If CommTest2 where a local company, and mp3car where an industry, then it would be outsourced. ... I could go on and on without ever straying from the truth.
Which is I'm upset that the community couldnt keep up and tell me what the problems where. Don't take it as rudeness, just honesty.

Why are you dis-ing and killing your own project bn? Yeah, you didn't get a big responce yet, but I am still watching this thread. I have told you I would work with you to make it touch-screen friendly. Maybe its a language barrier thing or something, but I just don't really understand how your program works (nor many of your posts).
One of your biggest problems is you are a bit late in the game. nemaGE was first, then earth-bridge, then GooPs, and then CommTest2 (might want to work on the name). GooPs has many features CommTest2 lacks. I really like GooPs and it does almost everything I want. On the otherhand, CT2 looks like it has a lot of unique features too (If I could figure out what they are and how to use them).
Devious: GPS Tracker is nothing like this program. (???) Try GooPs.

BN, I understand you're a bit frustrated right now, but please continue your work.
I think if the first post of this thread had descriptions of the functionality of the program (with pictures) then more people would hop on board. For example, GooPs tracks my position with a colored line, I can see that by going to the first page of the thread.
Help us understand what you are putting together, and we'll give you feedback.

I agree 100%. I've been watching this thread since day one and am still confused as to what this app does. The name implies that it's a test app of some sort and thus I haven't been paying much attention to your releases.
Even your webpage is short on describing what it does. If I were to guess, I think this is an app which reads NEMA formatted data from a GPS and feeds it to Google Earth... If that's what it is, then like other's have said, you're re-inventing the wheel.
Sorry man.
