Way to go for not ts lcd
I am installing a non touchscreen lcd into my car and having only a modded xbox running to it. I will also still be using my regular pioneer deck for radio and cds.
now my question is, is there any way to run gps through my system
ive heard of auxillary units but now i dont see how it would work w/o a ts monitor
any advice other than "throw in a ts" would be great
thank you

You can receive video signal if the screen as video in. You'd also need PC video that goes to RCA composite (TV out). You wouldn't be able to use the touchscreen, obviously, and would likely want some other cursor control (trackpoint, trackball, glidepad, etc).
The PC display on a composite video will likely look like crap, however.

I don't think that there is any GPS software that is compatible with XBox OS.
You would have to install Linux on it or something like that.
Peace,

You could probably find a way to ghettorig gps into a windows emulated through linux solution on your xbox, but trust me, it is going to suck.
Probably more worth your time to buy a used PDA and get iGuidance for it at this point.
