iGuidance 3.0 keyboard shortcuts

I just experimented with the MSR and got nothing whatsoever. I must have tried a hundred different combinations of 1,2,2,2 & 100 500 200 and everything else I can think of. I did verify with a hex editor, the the MSR does exist in the UMPC version, but is not present in the standard IG version.

With the combination of road pen witdh's, custom zoom levels, font sizes and all, I can deal with the scale of things for now. I just want to get RR control back of the menu's! I miss my favorites button on my RR skin from IG 2.x!

with how I mentioned above, I can get to "Enter destination" through commands to the file menu pulldowns, but I had buttons for "Intersection" and "Address" that I can no longer get to.

I honestly do not know what the H E Double L that iNav could have POSSIBLY been thinking to remove KB shorcuts form a mobile application that makes it so much easier to use on CarPC's as well as Laptops!

IN THE MEANTIME Take a minute to drop iGuidance support a note, and request that they re-enable the keyboard shortcuts! Here is their email address:support@inavcorp.com. PLEASE take just a minute and email them, if they get enough requests, they should have to listen to us!

im not sure what frontend or skin your using, but if your frontend can run or point to a .exe file as a command use these

[edit]
oh looking at your avatar its pretty obvious what frontend. Just use the "RUN;path\file.exe" in RR

LS: What are those? Auto-It scripts? How do they work? Do they simulate mouse clicks or "control messages" or what?

Yes, they are Auto it clicks, and yes they simulate Mouse Clicks. Have a look at the AU3 file in a text editor, and you can see the source file. That is all the exe in the Rar is, is the compiled version of the AU3 file.

I have been tinkering with it here, but am currently using iGLaunch to remove the menu's and IG's borders ect. When I assign when of the .exe's to a button, it works the first press, and then loses focus, and the IG screen drops behind road runner. I compensated for this by sending a [SPACE] key (any key would work) right after the command to the iGLaunch screen, and it then returns to the front. But it is useless as the IG screen dissappears for like a half a second... you thought the flicer from SENDKEY was bad! hahaha

This has NOTHING to do with LS's EXCELLENT script's, just that I am using iGLaunch, and it is just another screen that has to maintain focus.

they are using control clicks in autoIT, similar to mouse clicks but it dosent actually move your mouse or change its state. There are a list of other functions included with LSTOOLS thats apart of my LSXVOID skin for RoadRunner.

I already PM JohnWPB about his issue above, but for others that are also using RoadRunner and IG there is a beta going on now that has native IG intergration into RR so you dont need to use skinbedder, iglaunch etc, etc
