BU-303 Tracker gone bad?

Hey everyone, I was testing out my gps program and the BU-303 tracker is taking a long time to send or receive signal. I'm outside in the open with barely any buildings around.

I haven't used it for a few weeks and it was just lying around. Has it gone bad? Is this a common issue with this tracker? I thought they were of good quality. It worked before, but now it's acting weird.
