iG3: No more long/lat coordinates as dest?

I noticed this about iG3 when I wanted to type in long/lat coordinates, there is no such option under "Destination"! Did this they hack this option away? Is iG 2.1.3 the only solution I have if I want this?

I'm hoping for a registry key that can fix this

yea i just noticed that the other day, really dissapointing for us that geo cache

Definitely a disappointment. I do Urban Exploring, and most places are listed with long/lat instead of an address.

hmmm there *has* to be a way in ig3... maybe there is a shortcut key for it? I will investigate as much as I can with my limited resources, but someone should really look into this...

If someone still uses the previous version (with the lat/long feature), could you please e-mail me recent.dat file (found in c:\iNav iGuidance folder). If you are willing to do that, please first go to Recent Destinations, delete them all, and then enter one destination by lat/long, hit Nav, close iGuidance, and copy the recent.dat file. Tnx. I've found how to add the coordinates entry screen back into iG3! It's not functioning yet but perhaps this is a step in the right direction. Here is what I did:

1. ResHack'd iGuidanceVGA.exe from my PDA. Found the coordinates entry screen at Dialoge > 1092 > 1033.
2. Exported that by following Action > Save Resource as a *.res file ...
3. ResHack'd iGuidance.exe on my PC.
4. Followed Action > Add a new Resource ...
5. Pointed to my coordinates.res file I made in step 2.

Now it's in my Dialog menu for iGuidance.exe! I then tried to clean it up visually by changing the coordinates for the buttons and text boxes. Here are my coordinates:

Now I just hope that someone can take it further by allowing the text boxes to pass the Lat/Long to iG3. This is about as far as my knowledge goes.
