NEW GPS RECEIVER! ?? What do you guys/gals think??

Just saw this online and wondering if the specs seem to walk the talk!
Can anyone decipher these specs and tell me if they are better than what's out there?
Has anyone purchase one of these? Any reviews?
These have Dead Reckoning http://www.abacuscity.ch/abashop?i=O...deta il&sku=1

I don't see anything special...

No SiRF Star III mentioned.
Update speed is still at 1Hz.
No Serial-to-USB (could be bad or good)
I understand it needs power from the PS/2 connector (probably external 5V)

Unless you can get it for much less, I wouldn't go with it.

Sensitivity: -135dBm (typical)

Hmm, 5+ year old technology?

Well, it sounds like they're trying to make a big markup with a lot of tech specs and no substance behind it.
The only good thing about this is that is serial and has a seperate power, I hate USB GPS receivers and I like the serial secure tie in. But this is too much money!

What about this one?? This one seems to have Dead Reckoning, has anyone bought a sample of these?? This seems to be the real thing?

I'm a little confused with the accesories to get, but I'm gonna call them up and ask; this supports DEAD RECKONING and its got external antennas and extra accessories to hook up, total spend might be $200-250 but you get DR !!

Wouldnt have thought it was worth spedning $250 just for DR ina car based application! Its one thing to have DR for avaition based applications but not that necessary for cars!

Wouldnt it be easier to lose your signal in a car, rather than a plane? I mean, there's no buildings, tunnels, etc in the air?

I think it is very necessary in cars.

It's not necessary if you live in flat terrains, but it is if you live in urban canyons or mountains. It's not fun not getting signal on Madison av. in NYC!
